The 10th edition of Techtextil India 2025 — one of the most prominent trade fairs for technical textiles, nonwovens, and composite materials — successfully concluded at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai with an impressive turnout of industry professionals, buyers, and exhibitors from across India and around the world.
Spanning three dynamic days, Techtextil India attracted over 9,000 visitors from more than 235 Indian cities and 45 countries, underlining the event’s growing global footprint. The expo featured 216 exhibitors and showcased more than 300 brands across 12 core application segments including industrial textiles, sports tech, geotextiles, and medical textiles.
The event stood out for its emphasis on sustainable and circular textile solutions. Many exhibitors highlighted eco-friendly materials, efficient manufacturing technologies, and designs aligned with global sustainability goals. Specialized zones and showcases emphasized circular supply chains, resource-efficient manufacturing, and bio-based textile innovations.
Techtextil India Symposium & Conferences: Running alongside the exhibition were high-level conferences bringing together policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders. Sessions covered advances in smart textiles, AI-integrated manufacturing, and sustainable fiber technologies.
Dornbirn Global Fibre Conference Asia: As part of the extended program, this major international Fiber innovation forum was held in collaboration with Techtextil India, highlighting global trends in sustainability and material science.
Sporttech Pavilion: A dedicated pavilion for sports and performance textiles, showcased the latest fabrics and technologies for activewear and athletic applications, reflecting the rising demand for advanced functional textiles.
The event served as a key business hub where technology providers, manufacturers, institutional buyers and decision-makers connected to explore partnerships, investments and new market opportunities. The range of innovations on display spanned sectors such as automotive textiles, protective gear, construction materials, and specialty fabrics — emphasizing the expanding applications of technical textiles across industry verticals.
