Dhaka is set to host one of the most significant events in the global textile sourcing calendar as the 25th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show (DIFS) 2026 – Winter Edition prepares to welcome industry professionals from around the world. Scheduled from January 28 to 31, 2026, the four-day business-to-business exhibition will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Bangladesh’s capital city.

Organised jointly by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX (Sub-Council of textile industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), this year’s edition marks the 25th anniversary of Bangladesh’s longest-running yarn and fabric sourcing platform. Over the past two decades, DIFS has become an integral hub for global textile suppliers, buyers, and innovators, facilitating critical partnerships and sourcing deals.

A Comprehensive Textile Sourcing Platform

Recognised as an essential event for the textile and apparel value chain, DIFS 2026 will showcase a broad spectrum of products and innovations, including yarns, fabrics, denim, trims, accessories, and advanced textile technology. The exhibition is expected to attract leading manufacturers, international suppliers, and professional buyers who are sourcing raw materials and textile inputs for large-scale apparel production.

Industry observers note that Bangladesh’s position as a top global apparel exporter continues to drive demand for high-quality inputs, making events like DIFS vital for strengthening supply chains and expanding market opportunities. Over its 25-year history, the show has played a strategic role in connecting international suppliers with Bangladesh’s textile and garment ecosystem, contributing to competitiveness and diversification in the sector.

Strengthening Global Textile Trade

The partnership between CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX highlights growing cooperation between Bangladesh and China in textile trade, particularly in raw materials and technology. With both domestic and international participation, the show aims to enhance commercial outcomes for exhibitors and visitors alike. In addition to showcasing products, the event will offer valuable opportunities for networking, business development, and knowledge exchange.

DIFS 2026 (Winter Edition) is part of the Textile Series of Exhibitions, a global platform that hosts major events across key textile hubs in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The exhibition will be open daily to registered business visitors from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with online registration available for industry professionals.

As Bangladesh strengthens its role in the global textile supply chain, the 25th edition of the Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show is expected to reinforce the country’s emerging leadership in sourcing, innovation, and international trade within the sector.
