The vibrant city of Kolkata is preparing to reaffirm its place on the textile industry map as it hosts the thirty ninth edition of YARNEX alongside the twenty third edition of TEXINDIA from sixteen to eighteen January two thousand twenty six. The twin shows will take place at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan near Science City, bringing together one hundred twelve leading supply chain partners from across India under one roof. The event is expected to draw strong interest from trade buyers seeking innovation, reliability and scale across the textile value chain.
For over two decades, YARNEX and TEXINDIA have built a reputation as trusted business platforms that connect fibre producers, yarn manufacturers, fabric suppliers and technology providers with serious buyers. Kolkata, with its deep rooted textile heritage and growing entrepreneurial energy, offers a strategic setting for these shows, serving both eastern India and neighbouring regions. The inauguration is scheduled for sixteen January at noon, marking the formal opening of three days of focused business exchange.
The exhibition floor will reflect the diversity and depth of the Indian textile ecosystem. Participants will showcase natural fibres such as cotton, wool, silk and flax, alongside man made and specialty fibres. A wide spectrum of yarns, including blends, fancy and functional varieties, will be on display, supported by an extensive range of apparel and womenswear fabrics. Denim, knitted and woven fabrics, digital prints, embroidered surfaces, dyes, chemicals, trims, embellishments, machinery and value added services will complete the sourcing landscape.
Visitors are expected from across the global and domestic apparel trade, including buying houses, exporters, mills, designers, brands, sourcing agents and large retail chains. The trade only format ensures a focused environment where meaningful conversations can translate into concrete business outcomes.
Organised by S S Textile Media under the Textile Fairs India banner, YARNEX and TEXINDIA form part of a broader portfolio of textile exhibitions held across major manufacturing hubs. As the industry navigates changing market dynamics, the Kolkata edition is poised to offer clarity, connection and opportunity, reinforcing its role as a key meeting point from fibre to finished fabric.
